7B is a Russian rock group based out of Moscow. They are produced by Ivan Shapovalov, and have released three albums. The group’s lead singer is Ivan Demyan, who co-wrote the song Chto Ne Khvateat with t.A.T.u.

Krematorij (Крематорий - “Crematory”) is a Russian rock group. The group’s front man (and main song writer) is Armen Grigoryan. This year, Krematorij’s new song Amsterdam headed the Top 13 of Russian Nashe Radio for several weeks.

Plazma is a Russian musical group consisting of Roman Chernitsyn (vocals, lyrics, music) and Maxim Postelniy (background vocals, keyboards, music and arrangements). Their first single, Take My Love, put the group on the Russian charts. Enjoy the video of the said song below.

Epidemia (sometimes referred to as ‘Epi’ by fans) is a Russian Power metal musical band, famous for doing the Elven Manuscript metal opera in 2004. It was formed in 1993, whilst first songs were made back in 1991. Music of Epidemia resembles that of Blind Guardian and Rhapsody of Fire. The band was nominated on MTV Europe Music Award in 2002.

Skafandr is a popular Russian band playing in the self-defined “metal-dub” style. Skafandr was formed in 1998 by Eugeniy Rybnikov, Yuriy Vitel, and Kirill Soloviyov in Saint Petersburg.

Smash!! was a Russian pop duo, consisting of black-haired Sergey Lazarev and blonde Vlad Topalov, founded in 2002. They sang mainly in English, and released their music in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. They were most popular among teenagers in Russia and Southeast Asia. The band split in 2005.

Fabrika is a Russian pop girl group from Moscow. The group was formed from four girls who took part in the first season of the Russian talent show Star Factory in 2002 named Sati Kazanova, Irina Toneva, Alexandra Saveljeva, and Maria Alalykina. Igor Matvienko, the project’s director, became Fabrika’s producer. Fabrika finished second in the show. On November 5, 2003 Fabrika released their first and only album Devushki Fabrichnye.

Serebro are a Russian trio, who finished third in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki with the song Song #1. The band was formed in 2006 by Maxim (Max) Fadeev, a prominent Russian music producer. Serebro was one of the most popular Russian bands in 2007. Serebro consists of three Russian women: Elena Temnikova, Olga Seryabkina and Marina Lizorkina.
